What Is a Demand Package?

[Music] A demand package is comprised of of a number of documents and a letter demanding that an insurance company or a responsible party pays you for your injuries. What’s included is photographs of the incident, the police report, witness statements, and your medical records and bills. At my firm, every single case has a demand package that we send out. Ultimately, our goal is to try to settle your case. But if the insurance company or the responsible parties playing games and giving you a low ball offer, we start to move your case to litigation and then ultimately to trial.
