The Responsibility to Take Action

One of my favorite movies growing up was National Treasure with Nicholas Cage. And he says something when he’s deciding to steal a Declaration of Independence. He says, “Those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.” And that quote has stuck with me since I first heard it in like middle school. and to be an immigration lawyer and to serve for someone coming to me a stranger in a strange land with no guidance and no idea how to go about the process. It is the most humbling and passionate thing I can possibly do in this lifetime and help them achieve their goals and secure their future and live a better life.
