Destanee Trial Testimony

Ramez: Hello, my name is Ramez Shamieh. I’m here with Destanee Mitcher and my co-counsel Myles Lenz. We’ve been in a very stressful trial the past nine days and we just finished. Um, we were actually, while the jury was deliberating, we were able to reach a settlement, and uh, and I feel really good about it. Obviously, what I care most about is you and you being happy. So, um, we just wanted to just chat for a few minutes and go over some questions.

Destanee: I am relieved. I am grateful for the work that both Myles and Ramez have put into this case. Not only were you supportive uh in your law expertise, but you were supportive in making sure I was comfortable any questions that I had. Um, you held my hand through all of this, and I really do appreciate it. I didn’t feel judged, and I was well informed. So, I feel relieved and well supported. These are sharks. Do not let these big, beautiful smiles fool you. When it’s time to cut, oh my God, they are surgical sharks. I mean, they are meticulous in research and in the application of the law. And I’ve continued to tell you guys through the entire time how much I trust you. You’ve given me no reason not to trust you. And that’s huge. I can’t think of a lawyer I could trust, but I trust the two of you. So, uh, that’s been very important to me.

Ramez: I want to jump in and just add that is what you just said is why what we do right there. It’s not about the numbers. It’s about what you just said. Yeah. And now I feel really good.
