Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Kevin has called Dallas home since 2014. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Entrepreneurship from Paul Quinn College and his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Kevin worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Following the completion of his law degree, Kevin was honored with the Sarah McQuillen Tran Award at his graduation ceremony.
After law school, Kevin worked for Haynes and Boone, a corporate law firm, gaining valuable experience in the legal field. Nevertheless, he chose to join Shamieh Law because of their commitment to justice and their dedication to helping clients navigate complex legal challenges with compassion and expertise.
Kevin’s journey to becoming a lawyer and his accomplishments have also been covered in People Magazine, People Newspapers’ 20 Under 40, the Dallas Morning News as a finalist for Texan of the Year, and numerous other publications and news outlets that cover his story and mission to help homeless students access education through legal means.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, riding dirt bikes, and making music. His passion for music began as a child, and he had a successful music career as a teenager, starting as a rapper and singer. This creative outlet continues to be a significant part of his life.
