Juan R. Olivo is a pre-litigation paralegal at Shamieh Law. For the last nine years, he has worked as a litigation paralegal in the personal injury field, including motor-vehicle accidents, catastrophic injuries, wrongful deaths, dog bite cases, and slip-and-falls.
What sets him apart is his ability to connect the details to the bigger picture, ensuring clients feel supported, heard, and confident throughout the process. His decision to enter this profession stems from a passion for righting wrongs and a drive to help people navigate systems that can often feel overwhelming.
His greatest joy in his work is when he sees a client’s burden lifted, whether through treatment, resolved settlements, or simply providing assurance in a difficult time. Juan decided to join Shamieh Law because of their dedication to thoroughness and persistent client advocacy.
Juan also serves as a member on the board of directors of a local non-profit aimed to empower youth through sneakers and educational programs, and represents his city council district as a member of Dallas’ boards and commissions.
He was born and raised in Old East Dallas, and attended Skyline High School, Dallas College, and the University of Texas at Dallas. When not at work, Juan values spending time with his family, gardening, yoga, and keeping up with his doghter: Bluey.
