Greg oversees the entire Immigration Section at Shamieh Law. With over 12 years of experience handling immigration cases, Greg has represented clients from over 45 countries involving cases in immigration courts, before USCIS, and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Greg is one of the most passionate people you will ever meet. Some lawyers treat their professions like jobs. Greg lives it. One of his most rewarding accomplishments is helping people become legal in our country. His passion for helping immigrants developed at a young age.
Raised in Southern California, he grew up around many different ethnicities and realized the need to serve these communities. While in grade school, he became fluent in Spanish and gained valuable insights into the Hispanic community by going on foreign exchange trips in high school and a two-year mission to Chile during college.Greg earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2002. After several years of searching for a career path, he enrolled in law school at the University of Idaho College of Law. While in law school, he participated in law review, mock trial, and Immigration Clinic. At the Clinic, he found a passion for helping immigrants and cemented his decision to pursue a career in immigration law.
Greg is a member in good standing of the Idaho Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is able to represent clients needing immigration services in all 50 states. When not at the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
