What Steps Should You Take After a Truck Accident?

[Music] There’s a number of steps you should take after a truck accident. The first step is this. If you’ve been injured, go get medical care now. The second thing is call my firm. We’re going to protect you and make sure that all of your rights are protected. Third, if you’re at the scene, take photographs of the vehicles. And another thing I recommend is if the truck driver is admitting responsibility, kindly ask him, “Can I do a video of you saying you’re at fault?” Get him locked into his answer now. Cuz sometimes what happens is they’ll change their story later on as time passes or they’ll their story will magically change. Those are some things I would recommend. A couple other things are this. Stay off social media. Don’t go on to social media and start posting that you’re playing basketball. You have a injury claim, okay? You’re claiming to be injured. And so, insurance companies are looking for you to post on social media to minimize how much they pay you. Another thing is this. Listen to your doctors. They’re experts at getting you better, and they’re here to help you. So, the more you listen to your doctors, the quicker you are to recovering fully and moving on with your lives.
