What Does Negligent Security Mean?

[Music] A negligent security case means that a business failed to provide the proper security to keep you safe. One of the examples of this is in a high-crime area, robbers come into the business repeatedly, hold the place up at gunpoint, take all the people’s money, and then injure somebody along the way. And we’ve actually handled death cases like this. So it’s the business being careless in the way they keep their business safe. So this cannot really happen at home. This happens at schools and other businesses. And so one of the things that we’re going to do whenever you call us is we’re going to go over all the fact scenarios. One of the ways we differentiate ourselves with other firms is we hire amazing experts that can actually tell us what the crime area is like in the area of where the incident occurred. And so this will support what we’re trying to prove is that this business knew that this is a high crime area and chose profits over safety. That’s a common theme with our firm because that’s a common theme with businesses. They choose profits over safety.
